Merie McCown [she/her] is a queer lighting designer and visual artist based in Jersey City with her fiancé Kyra and their two cats, Duckie and Oscar. Merie has a unique blend of additional experience in music, video design,  and the fine arts. She received her MFA in Production Design at Brooklyn College and works in NYC on a very diverse range of projects including theatre productions, dance recitals, fashion shows, red carpet film premieres, live music performances, corporate events, and more.
